Facebook Streaming
One option for future meetings is to Live Stream to Facebook. What this means is that the video and audio of our meetings would be available to folks on Facebook. I would publish a link before hand that someone could click on and join our meeting from elsewhere. The advantage is that if you can't attend a meeting for some reason, you could still see and hear what happens, We can also make a recording available afterwards so if you missed something, you can go back and experience it again. The disadvantage is that some people might not want our meetings accessible to anyone on the internet. There may be privacy concerns, even when we focus on the speakers. The technology is simple enough. All it takes is a cell phone with a camera, so there wouldn't be bulky equipment in the way. What do you think about broadcasting meetings on Facebook?
